The Airbus A321XLR jet will make its first public appearance since it first flew nearly a year ago. The debut will take place in Le Bourget, during the Paris Air Show, which starts on June 19th.

The single-aisle aircraft promises to change the landscape of long-haul air travel thanks to its range of up to 8,700 km (4,700 nautical miles). Its debut is scheduled for the second quarter of 2024.

The event on the outskirts of Paris is the most important of the year and will also feature Embraer's participation. The Brazilian planemaker has already confirmed to the organizers that it will take the E195-E2 commercial jet, the KC-390 airlifter and the A-29 Super Tucano attack aircraft.

The list of confirmed aircraft was recently released and includes models such as the A400M, the A330 MRTT, the H160 helicopter, the cargo version of the ATR 72, the B-1B Lancer bomber and several fighters such as the Rafale, F-15, F-16 , F-35 and Eurofighter Typhoon.

Boeing, however, has not yet disclosed which aircraft it will present. Last year, in Farnborough (UK), the US manufacturer made the world premiere of the 777-9 and the 737 MAX 10.

Another renowned company, Saab, is also not on the list of planes for the Paris Air Show, as well as Bombardier, Textron and BAe, among others, but this should happen in some cases in the coming days.

What is certain is the absence of Chinese and Russian manufacturers. COMAC, for example, is not in the habit of exhibiting its aircraft abroad, let alone military aircraft manufacturers such as Chengdu or AVIC.

The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) would not be allowed to participate after the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
