Paris Air ShowAir Montenegro carrier has added a third pre-owned E195 jet, Embraer announced at the Paris Air Show.
Founded in 2021 and owned by the country’s government, the carrier has also signed up to the Pool Program, which provides support from the manufacturer.
It replaced state-owned Montenegro Airlines, which was liquidated by the government the previous year after accumulating debts with airport operators.
Air Montenegro operates a network of flights from Podgorica Airport, the capital of the Baltic country.

“Although our cooperation with Embraer has been long and successful, we believe its peak is yet to come. The continued development of Air Montenegro and the modernization of our fleet will open new possibilities to deepen our partnership and achieve common goals in the areas of safety, innovation, and service excellence,” said Tihomir Dragaš, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Air Montenegro.
“Air Montenegro has shown strong growth during the last year, and we are happy to be part of this momentum, by providing more capacity and world-class services. Our goal is to keep the E-Jets ready to fly and to keep strengthening our successful partnership for the years to come,” said Carlos Naufel, President and CEO of Embraer Services & Support.
Air Montenegro’s third E195 is reportedly registered AO-AOE and was previously flown by Great Dane Airlines. The aircraft is leased by SEBC Aviation Leasing, according to Planespotters.
