Air TransportAirbus has confirmed market reports that it delivered only 72 commercial jets in November, representing a 14% drop compared to the same month in 2024, or 12 fewer aircraft.
The reason was admitted by the company earlier in the week: a quality issue with fuselage panels in the A320 family thwarted the delivery target, previously planned at 820 aircraft in 2025.
With November, Airbus reached 657 commercial jets delivered in 11 months, compared to 643 in the same period of 2024. The company says it is pursuing a guidance of 790 aircraft this year, which means delivering 147 aircraft in December.

There was a recovery in A220 deliveries, with 10 A220-300s shipped to customers compared to just four in October, while the A320neo family had only 54 deliveries, ten fewer than the previous month and 12 fewer than in November 2024.
The A350 series had four deliveries, as did the A330neo. A rarity was the delivery of an A330-800 to a private customer. This variant has only 12 firm orders.
So far this year, the A319neo shows the greatest growth, at 117% (13 aircraft versus six), followed by the A220-300 with 26% (72 versus 53) and the A350-1000 (22% or 11 versus nine aircraft).
The biggest drop is for the A220-100 (-50%), followed by the A320neo (-12% or 175 versus 198) and the A350-900, with 3% (one less aircraft).
