December output of 136 jets lifts annual total despite production disruptions earlier in the year

Airbus confirmed the delivery of 793 commercial aircraft in 2025, an increase of about 4% compared with 2024. The result was supported by a late-year improvement, with 136 aircraft delivered in December.

The 2025 delivery total was achieved amid supply chain constraints that continued to weigh on production earlier in the year. Engine availability and systems shortages affected output, while an issue involving A320neo fuselage panels added pressure on final assembly lines and delayed some handovers before production rates improved later in the year.

Narrowbody jets continued to account for the majority of deliveries, totaling 700 aircraft in 2025, compared with 677 the previous year. Widebody deliveries rose to 93 aircraft, up from 89 in 2024.

Within the A220 program, Airbus delivered 93 aircraft in 2025, an increase of 18 airplanes, or 24%, year on year. Deliveries of the A220-300 climbed from 65 aircraft in 2024 to 88 in 2025, while A220-100 deliveries declined from 10 to five aircraft.

The A320neo family remained the largest contributor to Airbus output, with 607 aircraft delivered in 2025, compared with 602 in 2024. A321neo deliveries increased from 361 to 387 aircraft, offsetting a decline in A320neo deliveries, which fell from 232 to 205 airplanes. Deliveries of the A319neo rose from nine to 15 aircraft.

In the A330 program, Airbus delivered 36 aircraft in 2025, up from 32 the previous year. A330-900 deliveries increased from 30 to 33 airplanes, while one A330-800 was delivered, compared with none in 2024. Deliveries of the A330-200 remained unchanged at two aircraft.

The A350 family recorded 57 deliveries in 2025, unchanged from 2024. Within the program, deliveries of the A350-900 declined from 44 to 42 aircraft, while A350-1000 deliveries rose from 13 to 15 airplanes.

Overall, Airbus delivered 700 narrowbody aircraft in 2025, an increase of 23 airplanes, or about 3.4%, compared with the previous year. Widebody deliveries rose by four aircraft, or roughly 4.5%, driven by higher output in the A330 program and a stable A350 delivery profile.
