Airbus ended November with a stronger order book as new commitments from airlines and undisclosed customers pushed its 2025 total to 700 net orders. The latest update confirms steady demand across the A320neo family and solid interest in long-haul models, especially the A350.

The month added several key deals. A confidential buyer booked 20 aircraft early in November, securing 13 A320neos and 7 A321neos.

Cargo operators also helped move the numbers. Silk Way West Airlines ordered two aircraft on November 5, while Air China Cargo added six widebodies on November 17. Both purchases reflect a stable freight market that has been shifting toward newer and more efficient fleets.

Etihad Airways strengthened its long-haul strategy with six A330-900s ordered on November 12. Indigo finalized one of the month’s standout widebody commitments by firming options for 30 additional A350-900s, bringing its total order for the type to 60 aircraft.

Air China Cargo ordered six A350F

Another undisclosed customer placed a ten-aircraft order on November 14, including eight A350-1000s and two A320neos. A private buyer also ordered an A320neo.

With the full year’s balance now visible, the A321neo leads Airbus’s performance with 402 net orders. The A350 family also saw strong traction, recording 149 gross orders across the A350F, A350-900 and A350-1000. The A220-100 and A220-300 closed the period with 19 and 16 net orders respectively.

In total, Airbus registered 797 gross orders in 2025 and 97 cancellations, bringing the final net count to 700 aircraft. The numbers highlight a year marked by major orders from Asia and the Middle East, continued interest in narrowbodies and a clear recovery in long-haul fleet planning.
