Paris Air ShowAirbus has announced another customer for the A350F freighter, Turkish carrier MNG Airlines.
The Istanbul-based carrier and e-commerce specialist will receive two aircraft that will join its all-Airbus fleet, including six A330s, two A321P2Fs and two A300s.
“This agreement for two A350Fs deepens a partnership with Airbus across its full range of freighter programmes. This move strengthens our position across key trade lanes, including Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and a growing footprint in North America,” said CEO of Mapa Group and Chairman of MNG Airlines Murathan Doruk Günal.
“We are delighted to welcome MNG Airlines as the latest customer for the A350F, underscoring the strong market appeal for this game-changing freighter,” said Benoît de Saint-Exupéry, Airbus EVP Sales of the Commercial Aircraft business.

Launched in November 2021, the A350F will be a freighter capable of carrying 111 tonnes of cargo over distances of up to 4,700 nm (8,700 km).
The aircraft will be powered by Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-97 engines and is expected to enter service in 2027, when new ICAO regulations will ban the production of jets such as the Boeing 767F and 777F.
As of May, Airbus had 63 firm orders for the A350F, but at the Paris Air Show it added 12 aircraft to its backlog. In addition to the two MNG planes, Saudi Arabia’s AviLease has ordered 10 jets.
