Emirates Airline has announced seven more destinations where it will debut its new widebody, the Airbus A350-900. They are Tunis, Amman, Istanbul, Dammam, Ho Chi Minh, Baghdad and Oslo.
Flights to these cities will begin between June and September. Tunis and Amman, for example, will debut flights on June 1.
Istanbul, in Turkey, and Dammam, in Saudi Arabia, will have the new Airbus starting July 1.
In August, Baghdad will have three weekly flights while Emirates will place the A350 on its first Southeast Asian destination, Ho Chi Minh, in Vietnam
Finally, on September 1, another European destination, Oslo, in Norway.

The Dubai-based carrier is also close to deploying the aircraft on a flight to Bologna, Italy, as well as expanding frequencies to Bahrain and Kuwait, which are just a short distance from the United Arab Emirates.
To enable the expansion of the A350 network, Emirates is counting on new deliveries from Airbus, but inconsistencies on the assembly line make the plan unpredictable.
Last year, the airline had predicted that the widebody would debut in September, but delays due to supply chain issues pushed the inaugural flight back to January 3 – the chosen destination was Edinburgh, Scotland.

To date, only three of the 65 aircraft ordered have been delivered, the most recent of which (A6-EXD) on January 21. There are at least six A350-900s close to being completed by Airbus in Toulouse, however.
With 312 seats in three classes, the A350 offers a renewed experience to the airline’s passengers, including a Business Class with a 1+2+1 configuration and a mini-bar for quick snacks.
