Earlier on January 9, the C-3PO jet conducted morning services on the Tokyo Haneda–Sapporo route before operating its final passenger flight.

The Boeing 777-200ER JA743A was delivered by Boeing to ANA in March 2013 and had its main cabin reconfigured in 2020 with 28 seats in business class and 364 in economy.
