ATR reported 50 net aircraft orders in 2025 and said it is preparing to increase deliveries in 2026 after a year marked by supply-chain constraints.

The Franco-Italian manufacturer recorded 60 gross orders from nine customers across nine countries, including commitments for 16 ATR 72-600 aircraft from Air Algérie and 19 ATR 72-600s from UNI Air. Its backlog stands at more than 160 aircraft.

ATR delivered 32 aircraft during the year, below its initial guidance, citing continued disruptions affecting key components. The company said it has taken steps to stabilize production as it plans to raise output from 2026.

Revenue for 2025 was stable at $1.2 billion. Customer support and services generated a record $538 million, reflecting higher activity in maintenance and related operations.

Market activity remained firm across multiple regions. ATR said 19 new operators joined its global fleet in 2025. Leasing activity was strong, with more than 10 new aircraft placed from lessors’ order books, while the second-hand market recorded over 90 transactions.

In North America, JSX launched public charter operations in the United States with ATR 42-600 aircraft, and Canada saw the certification and delivery of its first ATR -600 to Rise Air.

Chief Executive Nathalie Tarnaud Laude said the company is focused on restoring higher output levels. “We are determined to raise our delivery rate; and that is why we have worked on concrete steps to address the issues that limited our output. We have strengthened every part of our organisation and laid the groundwork for a safe, sustainable and credible increase in production,” she said.

ATR said it is targeting a 20% increase in deliveries in 2026 compared with 2025, supported by improvements in final assembly flow and a reduction in parts shortages.

The manufacturer is also participating in two European Clean Aviation research programs, HERACLES and DEMETRA, aimed at demonstrating a hybrid-electric ATR 72-600 testbed by the end of 2029 as part of studies for a future-generation regional aircraft.
