Avion Express has announced the opening of 250 pilot positions in various regions, with special attention to the Latin American market. This announcement is part of the company’s annual recruitment season.

The expansion of crew numbers responds to the growing global demand for ACMI services (leasing that includes aircraft, crew, maintenance, and insurance), a segment where Avion Express operates as one of the leading providers. The selection process aligns with the company’s strategy to ensure operational capacity during peak periods.

The ACMI model offers pilots the opportunity to operate in different countries, fostering skills development and exposure to various operational environments.

“What we hear from the pilots flying with us about the ACMI model is that it is a perfect environment to develop skills and advance in their careers,” said Kristina Mateikaite-Riepsiene, Head of Crew Recruitment at Avion Express.

Operation in Brazil

According to Mateikaite-Riepsiene, the international nature of ACMI operations allows professionals to experience multiple cultures and flying practices. ‘Pilots often mention that ACMI operations allow them to discover different countries and cultures,’ said the executive.

Avion Express maintains a strong presence in Europe, with pilots from almost every continent. The company stands out as the largest global ACMI operator in terms of flight numbers.

The company has just launched an operation in Brazil, where it intends to incorporate dozens of A320 aircraft. The first of these jets is contracted by the Argentine airline Flybondi.
