While deliveries fell slightly, from 44 to 41 aircraft, Boeing celebrated the milestone of 192 firm orders closed in March.

Some deals were known, such as 67 737 MAXs to lessor BOC Aviation and Japan Airlines and 40 777X and 787 widebodies to Korean Air.

But Boeing also disclosed a sale of eight 777F freighters to FedEx (which exercised purchase options).

Five orders, however, appeared without identified customers. They total 77 aircraft, mostly 787 Dreamliners.

According to the company, there was an agreement for 21 737 MAX, another for three 777Fs, an order for 20 777Xs and two orders for the 787-9, the first for five aircraft and the second for 28 jets.

On the other hand, there were cancellations of 27 737 MAXs and two 777Fs, which caused the order balance to fall to 163 aircraft.

For the year, Boeing has 241 gross orders.

Deliveries down slightly, but above 2024

Last month, Boeing managed to deliver 41 commercial jets, three fewer than in February, but 12 more than March 2024.

According to the company’s report, 33 737 MAX, four 777F freighters, three 787-9s and the first 787-8 of 2024 were shipped.

The smaller Dreamliner variant was delivered to Singapore’s budget airline Scoot.

However, there were no deliveries of aircraft for military use or 767F freighters and the widebody 787-10.

In the first quarter, Boeing reached 130 deliveries, 57% above 2024, when it had delivered only 83 aircraft.
