Business AviationBombardier has confirmed a firm order for 50 Challenger and Global business jets from a new customer who has chosen not to disclose their identity at this time.
The agreement announced on June 30 also includes a long-term maintenance services partnership considered a first of its kind between a manufacturer and an operator.
The combined value of the aircraft and services contract is estimated at US$1.7 billion, with deliveries scheduled to begin in 2027.
In addition to the confirmed order, the customer holds purchase options for 70 more aircraft. If all options are exercised, the total value of the agreement could surpass US$4 billion.

According to Bombardier, the service arrangement will provide a fully integrated maintenance offering, using the company’s global service network to support the new fleet.
“This significant order underscores the competitive advantage Bombardier’s full scope of products and services brings to customers throughout the entire aircraft lifecycle,” said Éric Martel, President and CEO of Bombardier.
The large order is in line with Bombardier’s forecast to obtain more agreements in the second half, made at the beginning of the year.
The guidance of the manufacturer based in Canada is to deliver 150 business jets in 2025, a small increase compared to 2024, when it dispatched 146 Challenger and Global aircraft.
