GAMA, the General Aviation Manufacturer Association, released on Wednesday the final balance of light and executive aircraft shipments for 2024.

Among business jets, there was a repeat of 2023: the Cirrus SF-50 VisionJet, a single-engine light executive jet, once again had the highest number of deliveries with 101 aircraft, five more than the previous year.

The Gulfstream family, which includes the G400 to the G700, recorded 118 aircraft delivered, an increase of 33% compared to 2023.

Phenom 300 (Embraer)

Rival Bombardier saw its Global family have a slight drop, from 75 to 73 aircraft, the same total as the Challenger models.

Next came the Phenom 300, a light jet from Embraer, which had 65 deliveries, two more than the previous year. As a single product, the aircraft was the most delivered among those configured with two engines.

PC-24 business jet (Pilatus) | Pilatus

Its competitor, the PC-24, from Pilatus, managed to grow again to 51 aircraft, an increase of 8.5%.

Cessna surpassed Embraer in the midsize jet category with the Latitude, which had 40 deliveries compared to 28 for the Praetor 500 – but which increased its deliveries by 40%.

The brand belonging to Textron Aviation, however, saw other Citation models fall last year, such as the CJ3, CJ4, M2 and Longitude.

HondaJet (Kevin Hackert)

The biggest drop among executive jets was the HondaJet. The Japanese manufacturer’s original configuration aircraft had only 11 deliveries to customers, 50% fewer than in 2023.

This is the worst result for a light business jet since it hit the market in 2015.

In all categories, 764 business jets were delivered in 2024, 34 more than in 2023 (4.7%).
