Business AviationBombardier announced that Comlux will become the launch customer for the Global 8000 business jet, with delivery scheduled for 2026.
Comlux, a prominent operator in the business aviation sector, is recognized for its expertise in long-range missions. The addition of the Global 8000 will expand Comlux’s capacity to serve clients on ultra-long-haul routes.
The Global 8000 is designed for extended range, offering a maximum range of 8,000 nautical miles. The aircraft is capable of reaching Mach 0.95, positioning it among the fastest business jets currently available.
Operational flexibility is enhanced by the Global 8000’s ability to take off from shorter runways in a variety of weather conditions. This feature is intended to broaden the range of airports accessible to operators.

Comlux already manages operations of the Global 7500 and is attracting new customers interested in this class of aircraft. The introduction of the Global 8000 is expected to further strengthen its competitive position in the ultra-long-range segment.
Bombardier conducted the first flight of the Global 8000 on May 16, 2025, at Toronto Pearson International Airport. The manufacturer reports a global fleet of more than 5,100 aircraft in service.
The upcoming delivery to Comlux signals continued demand for high-performance, long-range business jets in the market. Bombardier is likely to focus on supporting operators transitioning to the new model as entry into service approaches.
