Croatia Airlines has taken delivery of its first Airbus A220-100, making it only the fifth airline in the world to operate the smaller variant of the A220 series.

The aircraft arrived in Zagreb on September 29 after departing from Montreal. The A220-100, configured with 127 seats, was delivered under a lease agreement with Air Lease.

Croatia Airlines plans to acquire up to 15 A220s, complementing the six A220-300 aircraft already received. The introduction of these new jets is part of a broader strategy to modernize the carrier’s fleet, which began in 2024.
