The D328eco passenger turboprop will roll out on May 28, when Deutsche Aircraft plans to unveil the 40-seat aircraft in Germany.
This is the “TAC 1” test aircraft, which has been under assembly at the company’s facilities since early last year.
The first D328eco is expected to complete its maiden flight by 2025.
Deutsche is also working to inaugurate the Final Assembly Line, which is being built at Leipzig/Halle Airport.

The new manufacturer plans to present a full mockup with cabin and cockpit during the Paris Air Show in June.
The 40-seat turboprop is a development of the Dornier 328, a regional aircraft launched in the 1990s that had a jet variant.
In addition to having greater passenger capacity, thanks to the lengthening of the fuselage, the turboprop will feature more modern and efficient equipment.

Among these are the state-of-the-art Garmin G5000 avionics suite and the PW127XT-S engines from Pratt & Whitney, which can use 100% SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel).
The D328eco will compete with the ATR 42, an aircraft that has been in service since the 1980s and dominates sales of regional turboprops in this seat range.
