Dassault Aviation delivered three additional Rafale F3R fighter jets to Egypt, according to images shared on social media.

This delivery is part of a contract signed in November 2021 for 30 new Rafale F3R aircraft, supplementing Egypt’s existing fleet.

The contract followed Egypt’s decision to cancel an earlier agreement to acquire Sukhoi Su-35 jets from Russia.

The latest batch includes two single-seat aircraft with registrations ‘EM10’ and ‘EM11’, and one two-seat aircraft registered as ‘DM21’.

Deliveries of the new Rafale jets began at the end of 2024 and are scheduled to conclude by 2026.

Once all deliveries are completed, the Egyptian Air Force will operate a total of 54 Rafale aircraft, including the 24 units previously acquired in 2015.
