After dispatching only three E195-E2s during almost the entire first quarter, Embraer performed the ritual of delivering three more aircraft of the type in recent days.
Azul received two new E195-E2s on Friday at its facilities at Confins Airport while the EI-HUN jet was prepared for transfer to Mongolia, where it will be delivered to Hunnu Air.
With registrations PS-ADE and PS-ADF, the two Azul jets flew from the São José dos Campos factory to Montevideo, Uruguay, and then took off for Belo Horizonte to complete the nationalization process.
The jets will now go through the registration and certification process before beginning commercial service.
Azul had already received an E195-E2 this year, the PS-ADB, which was delivered on March 8 by Embraer. In total, the airline has 34 aircraft of this type, the first of which was delivered in 2019.

The plan is to receive 15 of these aircraft during 2025, which will make the E195-E2 surpass the number of first-generation E-Jets in the fleet.
Hunnu Air, a Mongolian airline, announced that it had leased two E195-E2s from Azorra and the first of these aircraft flew on March 31 before departing for Buyant-Ukhaa, the carrier’s headquarters.
The small airline currently flies two E190s under lease.
