Air TransportEmbraer and Republic Airways have signed an extension to their long-term maintenance agreement, covering more than 240 E170 and E175 aircraft operated by the US regional carrier. The service will continue to be performed at Embraer’s facilities in Nashville, Tennessee.
The extended agreement includes 225 additional heavy maintenance visits for Republic Airways’ E-Jet fleet. Embraer will allocate three dedicated maintenance bays at its Nashville site to support these operations.
Republic Airways has conducted heavy maintenance for its E-Jets at the Nashville facility since 2011. The airline has completed over 650 heavy maintenance visits at the site to date.
More than 3.3 million labor hours have been logged at the Embraer Nashville facility since the partnership began. This demonstrates the scale of the maintenance activity supporting Republic Airways’ regional operations.
The agreement is expected to support continued reliability and operational performance for Republic Airways’ E170 and E175 fleet. Both companies have not disclosed the financial terms of the extension.
