Singapore AirshowEmbraer has signed a service agreement to provide maintenance, logistics and technical support to the Hungarian Air Force's fleet of C-390 Millennium aircraft, utilizing the company's European support infrastructure. The announcement was made at the Singapore Airshow on February 4th.
“This agreement marks another important step in our partnership with the Hungarian Air Force,” said Douglas Lobo, vice president of customer support and aftermarket sales at Embraer Services & Support. “We are committed to building a long-term relationship that ensures sustained operational performance through comprehensive support services.”
Hungary completed its C-390 order in November 2025, when it received its second and final aircraft. The Hungarian Air Force operates two C-390s, closing its original procurement and making the country the third operator of the type worldwide, after Brazil and Portugal, as well as the second NATO user.
The first Hungarian C-390 entered service in late 2024 and has since carried out a range of missions. According to Embraer, the aircraft has recorded a mission completion rate above 99% since becoming operational.
The Hungarian Millenniums are configured for both military and civilian tasks, including cargo and troop transport, medical evacuation, humanitarian assistance, search and rescue, precision airdrop missions, paratrooper operations and air-to-air refueling.
Hungary’s aircraft are also the first C-390s worldwide equipped with a modular roll-on/roll-off airborne Intensive Care Unit, allowing advanced medical evacuation missions without permanent changes to the aircraft’s configuration.
