Business AviationGulfstream Aerospace has announced the delivery of the first G800 business jet, following certifications from both the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) granted on April 16.
The aircraft, described by Gulfstream as the world’s longest-range business jet, was equipped at the company’s completion facilities in Appleton, Wisconsin. Delivery took place on August 27, marking the entry of the G800 into the market.
The G800 is positioned as the successor to the G650, whose production was concluded in February 2025. With the ability to fly up to 8,200 nautical miles at Mach 0.85 and 7,000 nautical miles at Mach 0.90, the G800 extends the operational capabilities available to business aviation operators. Its maximum operating speed is Mach 0.935.
The cabin of the G800 is configurable with up to four living areas, or three areas plus a dedicated crew compartment, and can accommodate up to 19 passengers. The aircraft features a cabin altitude of 2,840 feet at a cruise altitude of 41,000 feet, along with an air purification system based on ionization and a supply of 100% fresh air.

The completion center in Appleton, responsible for the G800’s final outfitting, specializes in large-cabin aircraft and includes a modern paint hangar. High demand for the model has been reported by Gulfstream, and the G800 is considered an evolution of previous platforms in the manufacturer’s lineup.
The G800 joins the G700, which was certified in 2024, as part of Gulfstream’s current family of long-range executive jets. The G800’s entry into service is expected to influence fleet modernization efforts across the business aviation sector.
With the G800 now delivered, Gulfstream is anticipated to ramp up production and deliveries to meet ongoing demand, while operators evaluate the aircraft’s long-range performance and cabin features for future fleet planning.
