Aero Vodochody delivered three new L-39 Skyfox aircraft to Hungary on November 19 at Vodochody Airport.

The shipment is the latest under a contract signed in May 2022, which covers a total of 12 L-39 Skyfox aircraft for the Hungarian Defence Forces.

With the recent delivery, Hungary has now received eight aircraft, with the remaining four scheduled for 2028.

The initial batch of three jets arrived at the end of May, followed by two more in September.

The L-39 Skyfox is designed for pilot training as well as tactical and reconnaissance missions, providing Hungary with increased flexibility for its air force requirements.

In addition to the aircraft, the agreement also includes ground support equipment, simulators, and a ground training system.

Aero Vodochody continues its involvement in the production of structural components for the Embraer C-390, which has also operated from Vodochody Airport.
