According to Bosco da Costa Júnior, president and CEO of Embraer Defense & Security, the delivery represents “a significant milestone for Embraer as we deliver the second C-390 Millennium to the Hungarian Air Force.”

Hungary’s Minister of Defense, Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky, classified the delivery as “truly uplifting and joyful moment, an incredibly important event in the development of the Hungarian Air Force.”
The first aircraft provided to Hungary entered service at the end of 2024 and since then has achieved a mission completion rate of over 99%, according to Embraer.
