Air TransportLATAM Airlines announced on August 6 its new Premium Comfort class, which will be introduced on international long-haul flights beginning in 2027. The investment for the development and implementation of the new product exceeds US$ 100 million, according to the Chilean airline.
Positioned between Premium Business and Economy, the Premium Comfort cabin will offer wider seats, greater recline, increased legroom and a lower seat count per cabin. The goal is to serve customers seeking more comfort and privacy without moving up to business class.
The service will include a dedicated menu, personalized attention, and an in-flight entertainment system with 16-inch 4K screens, Bluetooth connectivity, fast-charging USB-C ports, and individual power outlets.

According to LATAM, the new cabin is part of its “long-haul experience strategy,” which also includes the progressive modernization of its fleet.
The released images suggest a more sophisticated solution than current “Economy Comfort”, usually only with larger leg space.
The debut will take place on Boeing 787 aircraft, on long-haul routes that will be announced at a later date. Booking and availability details will be published on the company’s official channels.
