Lufthansa City Airlines is set to begin scheduled flights from Frankfurt in the first quarter of 2026, marking a shift from its current operations focused solely on Munich. The move, reported by AeroRoutes, will introduce several new routes from Germany’s main international hub as the company accelerates its expansion plans.

Among the new connections, the airline plans to operate two daily flights between Frankfurt and Berlin starting on February 10, 2026. Additional routes from Frankfurt to Düsseldorf and Málaga are scheduled to launch on March 1, 2026, with seven weekly flights each.

The carrier will also introduce service to Manchester with six weekly frequencies from February 9, and a weekly flight to Valencia beginning February 19. The new flights will be operated by Airbus A320neo aircraft.
