Air TransportLufthansa has introduced a Boeing 747-8 in a special blue “100 Years” anniversary livery, expanding its commemorative fleet to six aircraft.
The aircraft, registered D-ABYN and named “Niedersachsen,” received the new paint scheme in San Bernardino, California.

Lufthansa said an Airbus A350-1000 will also receive the special livery in autumn 2026, bringing the total number of aircraft in the commemorative fleet to seven.
