Business AviationEmbraer's Praetor 600, Praetor 500, Legacy 500, and Legacy 450 jets will be able to feature Starlink connectivity as an after-sales solution, the planemaker announced.
High-speed Wi-Fi onboard the aircraft will be available through a Supplemental Type Certificate (STC).
The solution was made possible thanks to a partnership with Nextant Aerospace, the engineering business unit of Flexjet, one of the largest customers for the Brazilian company's executive jet fleet.
According to Embraer, the Praetor 500 and Legacy 450 jets have already been certified by the FAA, while the Praetor 600 and Legacy 500 models are expected to receive approval in the third quarter of 2025.
In Brazil, ANAC is expected to certify the aircraft in the fourth quarter of this year, while EASA will do the same in the first quarter of 2026.

“We’re excited to bring Starlink’s cutting-edge, high-speed internet to our customers. This builds on our ongoing efforts, strengthening our commitment to seamless, connected flight experiences around the world,” said Marsha Woelber, Vice President, Customer Support & Aftermarket Sales for Executive Jets, Embraer Executive Jets.
"Starlink provides high-speed, low-latency internet through a constellation of Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites, ensuring continuous connectivity anywhere in the world, even over remote locations or oceans," the company explains.
Despite this, the system experienced issues on United Express E175 jets, which forced it to suspend operations some time ago.
