Riyadh Air operated its first scheduled service between Riyadh and London Heathrow on October 26. The flight used the airline’s sole Boeing 787-9, named ‘Jamila’, and is scheduled to run daily.

Initially, the service is limited to Riyadh Air employees and selected guests. The carrier has not yet opened bookings to the general public.

Riyadh Air was established in March 2023 as Saudi Arabia’s new global airline. The company aims to connect over 100 destinations by 2030 as part of the country’s aviation sector development strategy.
