Air TransportRussia’s United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) will present the Il-114-300 turboprop and the SJ-100 for the first time outside Russia at the Wings India 2026 exhibition, scheduled for January 28 to 31 in Hyderabad.
Both aircraft will be displayed by United Aircraft Corporation, a subsidiary of Rostec, at the civil aviation event. The SJ-100 will be shown in a static display wearing a livery with elements of the Indian national flag.
The aircraft on display is built using serial production technologies and features Russian-made systems and components, including PD-8 engines produced by United Engine Corporation. It is also fitted with a Russian-made passenger cabin, which will be presented publicly for the first time.
The Il-114-300 turboprop will be exhibited with its passenger cabin installed and is scheduled to take part in the exhibition’s flight program. It is powered by TV7-117ST-01 engines, also produced by United Engine Corporation.

According to the manufacturer, the aircraft is designed for regional routes and autonomous operations from small airfields and short runways with limited ground infrastructure. The company says it is certified for operations in Arctic, mountainous, tropical, subtropical, and hot climates.
United Aircraft Corporation said India’s UDAN regional connectivity program supports the expansion of regional air travel and creates conditions for potential commercial operations of the SJ-100 and Il-114-300 in the local market.
The company added that regional airlines have shown interest in its civil aircraft. With support from the Russian Trade Mission in India, demonstrations of both types are planned for Indian aviation specialists during the exhibition.
The SJ-100 is a replacement for the original Sukhoi Superjet, which was developed with a supply chain that relied heavily on Western suppliers. That earlier version was powered by the SaM146 engine, produced through a partnership with France’s Safran. The SJ-100 completed its first flight on September 5, 2025, becoming the first aircraft built in the target configuration intended for customer delivery.
Wings India 2026 is jointly organized by India’s Ministry of Civil Aviation, the Airports Authority of India, and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
