Scoot, a low-cost airline linked to Singapore Airlines, already has two E190-E2s. The second aircraft of the type was delivered by Embraer at the end of April and subsequently flew to the country.

Named “Small Yella Fella“, the E190-E2 with registration 9V-THB joined the first jet, 9V-THA (Explorer 3.0), which had been delivered on April 11 in a ceremony at Embraer’s headquarters in Brazil .

In total, Scoot will have nine aircraft of the type, configured with 112 seats. The remaining seven jets will be delivered by the end of 2025 by Azorra, which leased the E190-E2.

To fly from Brazil to Singapore, the aircraft needs to make five technical stops for refueling. The stops took place in Recife, Las Palmas, Athens, Dubai and Hyderabad, India, before landing at its final destination.

The airline’s teams have been carrying out several daily flights with the aircraft for familiarization purposes, as flight records show.
