STARLUX Airlines took delivery of its first Airbus A350-1000 aircraft, registered B-58551, at a ceremony in Toulouse, France.

The aircraft departed Toulouse Blagnac Airport at 14:10 local time and is scheduled to arrive at Taipei Taoyuan International Airport at 10:11 local time on January 6.  This delivery introduces both STARLUX Airlines’ and Taiwan’s first A350-1000 into service.

STARLUX Airlines placed its initial order for the A350-1000 during the Farnborough International Airshow in July 2018. The carrier previously received its first A350-900 in October 2022.

The A350-1000 expands STARLUX’s capability to serve long-haul destinations and aligns with the airline’s fleet renewal and growth strategy.

The aircraft is a member of Airbus’s twin-aisle A350 XWB family, which has seen increasing adoption among Asia-Pacific carriers seeking efficiency on intercontinental routes.

In June 2025, STARLUX Airlines signed a firm order with Airbus for 10 additional A350-1000 aircraft, increasing its total order for the type to 18 widebodies.
