Portuguese Air Force and Embraer signed contract for 12 aircraft on December 16 at subsidiary OGMA's facilities

Resources will be allocated to the subsidiary OGMA, which will be responsible for the A-29N variant destined for NATO countries

Subsidiary OGMA has opened maintenance facilities in Alverca to repair and overhaul the PW1100G turbofan used in the A320neo. Soon, the PW1900G version that equips the E2 jets will also be serviced at the site

The company, however, avoided confirming that the A-29N Super Tucano will be produced by OGMA subsidiary. Variant will be developed to serve NATO member countries

OGMA (Oficinas Gerais de Material Aeronáutico) has just received the certificate from ANAC de Portugal to become the first Authorized Maintenance Center for the new generation aircraft of the Brazilian manufacturer

Subsidiary OGMA will be able to provide support and maintenance services for the attack and training aircraft
