Titan Airways has taken delivery of its first Embraer E190 regional jet, expanding its fleet with a more flexible and fuel-efficient option for regional and domestic charters. Registered as G-POWX, the aircraft joined the UK-based charter carrier on June 27, and is now available for ad-hoc charter and lease.

The E190LR arrives as a strategic complement to Titan’s Airbus fleet, which includes A320, A321, and A321LR models. Configured in a dual-class layout with nine business and 88 economy seats, the Embraer aircraft will be operated in charter flights in the 70- to 100-seat segment.

“This aircraft allows us to serve smaller markets with lower costs and great cabin comfort,” said Alex Harrington, Commercial Director at Titan Airways. He added that Titan plans to offer flexible seating options, including an all-economy 100-seat version to attract a broader range of clients.

With a range of 2,400 nautical miles and the ability to operate at airports with short or restricted runways such as London City, Florence, Berne, and San Sebastián, the E190LR is expected to be a popular addition among European charter customers.

While new to the Embraer E-Jet family, Titan already operates an Embraer Phenom 300 light jet, primarily for crew positioning and VIP charters through SaxonAir.

Built as an Embraer E190LR, the jet was first delivered to Air Astana in 2012 as P4-KCG, later operating for Myanmar Airways International and leased by TrueNoord.

After being withdrawn from use and stored multiple times, the aircraft was finally ferried from Maastricht (MST) to London Stansted (STN) in June 2025 and re-registered as G-POWX to begin its new chapter with Titan Airways.
