Transavia has revealed its new livery on an Airbus A320neo at the Airbus facility in Toulouse, marking a visual update as the airline integrates the aircraft type into its French fleet.

The redesigned livery retains the signature green color and the ‘T’ logo, but introduces a larger ‘Transavia’ name along the fuselage in a new font. The aircraft’s engines are now painted entirely green, and the A320neo’s sharklets feature a dual design: white outer sides with a green ‘T’ and green inner sides with a white ‘T’. The logo is also displayed on the underside of the fuselage for enhanced visibility.

The introduction of the A320neo is part of Transavia France’s ongoing fleet transition, complementing its current roster of 68 Boeing 737-800s and 20 A320neo aircraft. According to the group, the new aircraft are expected to contribute to lower fuel consumption and reduced CO2 emissions, aligning with Air France-KLM’s environmental objectives.

Transavia operates around 350 routes from bases in France, the Netherlands, and Belgium, positioning itself as the low-cost carrier within the Air France-KLM group. The rollout of the new livery coincides with the airline’s 60th anniversary in the Netherlands and 18 years of operations in France.

Next steps include the production of the first A321neo with the updated livery, scheduled to begin at Airbus in 2025. The aircraft is expected to join Transavia’s Dutch fleet by the end of that year.

Air France-KLM had chosen the A320neo family to renew its short-haul fleet as well as the low-cost subsidiary Transavia in December 2021.

The Dutch carrier signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the European planemaker for a firm order for 100 A320neo and A321neo jets in addition to 60 purchase options.
