Air TransportThe lessor TrueNoord has placed a firm order for 20 Embraer E195-E2 jets, the companies announced on Tuesday. The agreement, valued at approximately $1.8 billion, includes purchase rights for up to 30 additional aircraft.
The deal allows TrueNoord to acquire 20 more E195-E2s and 10 E175 through future purchase rights. This is TrueNoord’s first direct order with an aircraft manufacturer.
TrueNoord specializes in regional aircraft leasing and currently manages a fleet of over 100 aircraft. The company’s CEO, Anne-Bart Tieleman, stated that the order aligns with TrueNoord’s strategy to offer efficient regional jets.

Truenoord has in its current inventory ATR 42, ATR 72 and Dash 8 turboprop aircraft, as well as first generation CRJ900, E175 and E190 regional jets.
Among its customers are Air Serbia, Emerald Airlines, Olympic Air, LOT Polish Airlines, Breeze Airways, Nexus Airlines and TACV Cabo Verde Airlines.
