The appearance of Boeing’s F-47 fighter is still a mystery, as only two images have been released, showing the stealth fighter only partially, but the US Air Force has raised more questions with a video released on Friday.
The service’s recruitment commercial features a brief clip in which an advanced fighter appears in its entirety, but without any reference to what it is.
The aircraft, however, has different characteristics than the one presented by President Donald Trump during the announcement that Boeing had won the NGAD (Next Generation Air Dominance) contract.

The first image – and also another artistic view – shows a fighter with canards and wings with pronounced positive dihedral. There are, however, no details of the tail or the aircraft as a whole.
The video, on the other hand, shows the fighter in its entirety, although without proper resolution. The configuration does not have canards but a flattened fuselage that joins the wings, positioned well back.
The jet has two well-separated engines and inclined vertical stabilizers. The ventral air intakes cannot be seen clearly.

There is no guarantee that the Air Force decided to anticipate the look of the F-47, it is worth mentioning. There are numerous illustrations of 6th generation fighter concepts and the USAF itself was not precise in the first sketches shown of the B-21 Raider, Northrop Grumman’s stealth bomber.
But the promotion of a 6th generation fighter in a commercial that aims to attract applicants to the service is quite curious.
